Liverpool are in a fantastic position to win silverware in 225 after their strong start to the season under Arne Slot.
The Reds are top of the table in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League, with their key players firing on all cylinders.
Over the years, Liverpool have made a handful of signings in January and it remains to be seen if that’s the case this time around as well.
And now, it appears as if one of their young attackers could be on his way out of the club in January.
Plymouth want to sign Liverpool attacker Jayden Danns in January
Liverpool have six senior fit attackers in Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and new signing Federico Chiesa, making it hard for young players to make an impression under Slot.
Jayden Danns enjoyed a breakthrough under Jurgen Klopp last season but has spent the lion’s share of the 2024-25 campaign on the sidelines due to injury.
The youngster made his first appearance of the season in the 2-1 Carabao Cup win against Southampton as he successfully got minutes under his belt after his injury.
And now, it appears as if he could be on his way out of the club in January, with Plymouth Argyle interested in signing him on loan.
Darren Witcoop, who broke the news on X, wrote: “Plymouth are confident of striking a deal to keep Andre Gray beyond his short-term deal that ends on January 3.
“Argyle also among Champ clubs wanting to take Liverpool's Jayden Danns on loan.”
New manager Wayne Rooney is eager to make changes to his squad, but it remains to be seen if Liverpool sanction a temporary exit.
Working with Rooney could help Danns
Danns was dubbed as ‘outrageous’ for some of his work with the academy last season and has finally put his injury woes behind him.
A loan to the Championship might work wonders for him as he needs to get regular game time under his belt to get back up to speed.
Rooney knows a thing or two about strikers and if he manages to get his hands on Danns, the Anfield faithful will be excited to see how he develops in the second half of the season.
