Liverpool trail Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the City Ground in a game that could have big implications for the Premier League title race.
The Reds went into tonight’s tie six points clear of the Garibaldi with a game in hand as Liverpool knew they had a golden chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League if they can come away with a win against Forest.

However, things have not gone to plan for Arne Slot’s side with Chris Wood’s early opener the difference between Liverpool and Forest at the break, with the Reds struggling to find their rhythm in the final-third despite dominating in possession.
And Slot was not pleased by Chris Kavanagh’s refereeing performance in the first half.
Slot left angry after Murillo barge on Luis Diaz
As spotted by the Athletic’s Ed Mackey, Slot was left fuming after Kavangah failed to spot Forest defender Murillo barging Luis Diaz off the ball, with play continuing as the obvious foul was not spotted by the Premier League referee.
