Juventus’ Douglas Luiz ‘wants a transfer’ to Manchester City or Nottingham Forest in the winter market.

That’s according to Bolvaip Brasil, and they cover the Premier League duo’s interest in the midfielder.

Nottingham Forest have been reportedly trying to sign the Brazil international, with that stated again in this Brazilian report, and Manchester City and others have been credited with interest.

The 26-year-old has struggled since he left Aston Villa for the Serie A side last summer and has been limited to four starts in all competitions this season.

Luiz didn’t receive a call up from Brazil in September or October and missed the last international break due to an injury. The midfielder wants to return to the national team and feels he needs to move away from Juventus to do so.

Therefore, the South American is keen on a move to Nottingham Forest or Manchester City in this window.

Bolvip have made it clear this is their own information and state Pep Guardiola’s side want him on loan without an obligation to buy. The Turin club are aiming for a sale or loan with a buying obligation.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side, on the other hand, are ‘willing to make a large investment’ to sign Luiz. There’s no mention of the fee they are willing to offer or Juve’s demand, but this could give Nottingham Forest an advantage over Manchester City.

Earlier reports from Italy had dismissed Nottingham Forest as a potential destination and explained Douglas Luiz had no intention of moving there, but this Brazilian report states otherwise.
