Manchester United have holes in every area of the squad and they pretty much need a whole new starting Xl to turn the situation around. The Red Devils are currently 12th in the Premier League table with 29 points from 23 games.
However, the position that they must revamp is the LWB due to the injury problems of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia. They have stepped up their efforts to purchase Patrick Dorgu from Lecce to reinforce this position.

However, they have found it difficult to seal the deal having already seen two official proposals worth up to £25m rejected by the Italian side.
Yesterday, we covered a story from Portugal stating that Man Utd will move to bring back Alvaro Carreras from SL Benfica if they fail to lure Dorgu and the deal will also depend on whether the player is willing to return. United have a £16.7m[€20m] buyback option where he has a £42m release clause in his current contract.
Now, The United Stand journalist, Sam Cohen, says that the Spaniard is prepared to returning to the Red Devils if they make a formal approach.
The 21-year-old initially joined the Eagles on a loan deal in January last year before signing permanently in the summer.
The Spaniard has been in fine form this season, making three goal contributions and keeping seven clean-sheets in 18 league appearances for the Portuguese giants.
Moreover, he provided an assist against Barcelona in the Champions League last week, although his side ended up losing the game 5-4.
Ruben Amorim needs a new LWB as soon as possible and the club hierarchy must hand him the right option before the deadline, whether it’s Dorgu or Carreras.
Have your say – Who would you prefer Man Utd to hire to address the LWB issue?
