The transfer window might have concluded in England but Manchester United do not stop being linked with potential arrivals in the market.

The only way the club can sign someone new right now is if they dip into the free agents market.

There are quite a few players in world football who are yet to find a new club this summer after seeing their contracts expire last summer. The likes of Sergio Ramos, Memphis Depay and Adrien Rabiot are a part of this list.

Of all these names, it’s Rabiot who is gaining the most attention in recent days. As per Mundo Deportivo, the French midfielder is tempted by a transfer to many clubs including Manchester United, AC Milan, Galatasaray and Al Nassr.

Despite being tempted by so many clubs, he has so far been unconvinced to join any of these teams yet. If Man Utd want to sign Adrien Rabiot, they would have to pay around €10m per season, which would work to around £162,000 a week.

What the Les Bleus brings to the table is a wealth of experience. Having played at clubs like PSG and Juventus over the years, he should have no issues adapting to a big club. He can also provide cover in various roles in midfield and if needed, even as a left-back.

Rabiot is not the most creative passer there is. He isn’t blessed with the ball at his feet. However, one thing that works well for the Frenchman is that he understands what his limitations are and tends to play to his strengths.

Not always been the fan favorite wherever he has played, Rabiot’s value is understood better by the managers than those around the club.

Should Man Utd sign Adrien Rabiot, he would be a very useful weapon in Erik ten Hag’s armory. Let’s see if the Red Devils can wrap up a deal for him in the coming days.
