However, having spent big in the summer, they might have to make sales before they are able to reinforce the squad.
According to a story covered by The Independent, Man Utd are plotting a double raid of fellow Premier League club, Wolve,s with both Rayan Ait Nouri and Matheus Cunha on the radar.
The duo have been performing admirably so far this season and have a combined worth of £120million.
They are young enough to move to Manchester United now and establish themselves as a huge part of the project Ruben Amorim is attempting to build.
£60m-rated Ait Nouri will help Manchester United reinforce in a position where they are currently lacking, in terms of reliable options.
It is time to get rid of Luke Shaw and Malacia, who have spent more time on the treatment table than on the field.
Ait-Nouri would be excellent in Ruben Amorim's system as a flying left wing-back. He has been top class for the Molineux outfit in the current campaign.
On the other hand, Cunha, who is also valued at £60m, is a very clever attacking player. Capable of playing in multiple roles in the offense, the Brazilian has so far started 18 games in the PL for Wolves this term, and directly contributed in no fewer than 14 goals (10 goals and 4 assists).
Although it is highly unlikely that Manchester United manage to sign both players this transfer window, they will be two exciting profiles to add to the squad.
