Man Utd would be ready to submit bid to sign £15m player – Report

Manchester United might have performed well against Liverpool last weekend but the season so far has been very poor. The fact that a 2-2 draw feels like a huge win over the Reds underlines just how much the Red Devils have fallen off.
They have undergone a managerial change mid-season and it is not always easy for someone to come in and take over and try and implement his ideas without a proper pre-season behind him. Ruben Amorim is now feeling the effects of the same.
However, the silver lining is that the January transfer window is upon us and Man Utd can make reinforcements to try and salvage whatever is left this season. Top-4 seems a stretch but Amorim will at least want to get some European football for next season.
Now, as per Tuttomercatoweb, Man Utd would be ready to submit a bid to sign talented Bournemouth centre-back Dean Huijsen.
The Spanish-Dutch defender has been wonderful for Andoni Iraola’s side so far this season.
Interestingly, the 19-year-old scored against Manchester United earlier this season as Bournemouth beat the Red Devils 3-0 in what was an inspirational performance from the Cherries. In all honesty, they have performed so much better than Amorim’s team so far this season.
It hasn’t been long since Huijsen made the move to Bournemouth, signing for the club back in the summer for around £15m.
If he continues playing the same way, it is only a matter of time before the player makes his debut for Spain at the senior level.
One would have to say that with Man Utd playing with a 3-at-the-back system, signing Huijsen would not be a bad idea. However, it all depends on the price that Bournemouth ask for and let’s wait and see how it plays out.
