Manchester City formal offer for player 'expected shortly' – Not a big gap between clubs

Last week, Manchester City were said to be closing in on a move for Juventus' Andrea Cambiaso.
No offer had been made for the versatile fullback but things still seem to be moving.
TuttoSport have today looked at Manchester City’s interest in Cambiaso and they are confident that the Citizens' first offer for the Italy international is 'expected shortly'.
Pep Guardiola’s side will offer around €65m for the 24-year-old, who started for Juventus against AC Milan at the weekend.
For now, there are no negotiations between Manchester City and the Bianconeri. Juve’s position is clear and they will only accept 'unmissable' offers for Cambiaso.
The likelihood is that the English champions' offer will not be accepted and Juventus will ask for more. It is not known whether Manchester City will respond with a better offer, because the distance between the two parties is not major.
A warning is presented to Manchester City though, because Juventus believe they can earn a higher fee from Cambiaso’s sale in the summer. They are waiting for that possibility and would rather execute a move some months later.
