Manchester United official at FC Porto yesterday – January transfer business could be on agenda
Today at 07:17 AM
Manchester United’s loss to Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday was another indicator of the club’s need to bolster their squad.
The Red Devils are currently far off qualification for the European spots and works needs to be done to bring in new signings this month.
O Jogo in Portugal have stated scouts from Manchester United were present in the stands during FC Porto’s 3-1 loss to Gil Vicente in Liga Portugal.
This is not the first time that officials from the Old Trafford club have watched Porto recently, who find themselves third in the table and sacked manager Vitor Bruno last night.
Manchester United were not the only club watching from the stands as Southampton, Marseille, Bologna and Mallorca were also present at the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos.
There is no clarity about which player was the main target, but Galeno and Samu Aghehowa featured for Porto and they have been linked with a host of clubs in the past few months.
