Real Betis are one of the clubs chasing Manchester United’s Antony in the winter market.
On December 30th, ABC Sevilla reported the La Liga side have made contact to sign him on a loan deal. Last week, the same newspaper stated Betis will fight until the end for his signature.
The 24-year-old has struggled for regular game time and his situation hasn’t improved since Manchester United replaced Erik ten Hag with Ruben Amorim in November.
Friday’s edition of ABC Sevilla claims the Spanish club continue to push for his arrival in this window.
They are looking for a left-footed right winger, and the Manchester United player seems to be their priority. Real Betis have intensified negotiations in past few days for the Brazilian, who is seen as a market opportunity.
According to the report, Manuel Pellegrini’s side are making advances while facing intense competition from other clubs.
Los Verdiblancos are in talks with Manchester United to sign Antony on loan with the Red Devils paying chunk of his salary. The newspaper adds ‘the player is willing to leave’ Old Trafford and is ‘seduced’ by the idea of joining Real Betis in January.
Antony has scored one goal from 13 games for Manchester United this season.
