Clement impressed with Rangers debutant who could replace £22k p/w flop

The Rangers team that took on Fraserburgh was missing a few regulars with the gaps being filled by what could be the future of the club.
Philippe Clement was brought into Ibrox as a manager with a reputation of developing young players, but it is yet to become reality at his current club.
Ending the Scottish Cup tie with Bailey Rice, Leon King, Ross McCausland, Mason Munn and Findlay Curtis on the pitch is an encouraging sign for Rangers with the latter proving that one high earner won't be missed if he is moved on.

Findlay Curtis passes Rangers chance audition
Making his debut for the Light Blues, fans' favourite Curtis has been scoring goals for fun at academy level and tested the Fraserburgh goal on a couple of occasions.
Not only this, but he provided the pass around the corner for Cyriel Dessers to score Rangers fifth goal showing the sort of vision and composure that Rabbi Matondo lacks.
The Wales international has been linked with several clubs already and Nils Koppen will be keen to get him off the wage bill.
A loan deal with an option to buy has been mentioned as the sort of offer that Rangers are looking for.
Should he depart, not only will there be an extra £22,000 per week available on the wage bill, but Curtis has shown that there is a ready-made replacement already available.
What did Clement say about Curtis’ impact on debut?
Clement was happy with what he saw from the academy starlets, and it might not be the last time that fans see them this season:
"Yeah, two really good passes from Findlay [Curtis]. Indeed he’s one of the guys who’s developing really well. The last couple of months he’s trained a lot of times with us but there are others also, so it’s difficult for me to point out one," the Gers boss said of Curtis.
"Zak [Lovelace] is coming back out of a long injury. Bailey Rice is doing really good things in training, that’s why I wanted to give him also minutes, but there are also guys like Paul Nsio who’s not in the squad today that are making a good evolution.
"It’s about all of them to keep on working hard, to be hungry, to have the desire to become better and then to push the others and to make next steps."
