Premier League outfit 'monitoring' Rangers star who is now expected to leave Ibrox in January

Rangers are eager to shift several high-earners off the club's wage bill this January to free up cash to bolster the club's squad.
The Gers cut their wage bill by £6m in the summer but it's just the beginning of a necessary downsizing following years of squad mismanagement.
With several names involved in the Ibrox cull, one of Rangers' highest-earners is now reportedly attracting interest in the Premier League.
Tom Lawrence wanted in Premier League
Rangers reportedly held off Premier League competition to sign Tom Lawrence when his Derby County contract expired in the summer of 2022.
According to Salary Sport, Rangers pay Lawrence around £22k per week or £1.15m per season and it's been a tumultuous 30 months for the Welshman at Ibrox.
Lawrence's stint at Rangers has been decimated with injury and now the Gers are preparing to cut their losses this month.
Besiktas have been strongly linked with Tom Lawrence after the appointment of ex-Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Istanbul.
It's even been claimed in Turkey that a move has already been arranged in a 'transfer that shook Europe'.
But the Daily Mail have some other ideas and have suggested that the Turkish outfit aren't the only ones keeping an eye on Lawrence's situation this January.
Premier League outfit Ipswich Town are 'monitoring' Tom Lawrence's situation at Rangers, whilst Championship duo Burnley and Sheffield United have also been linked.
Rangers look to move on five high-earners
Tom Lawrence started his Rangers career very brightly before a serious knee injury devastated the last few years of the 31-year-old's career.
Rangers are reportedly willing to part with the midfielder on a free this month, whilst Lawrence hasn't played since the 2-1 Premier Sports Cup win over Motherwell in November.
Having sustained another injury, there is some mystery surrounding Lawrence's situation at Ibrox and an exit would be welcomed by most supporters.
The Welshman isn't the only one who could leave Rangers this month, with Kieran Dowell and Rabbi Matondo told they have no future at Rangers.
Ben Davies continues to impress on loan at Birmingham City and Rangers will hope to sanction a permanent deal come the end of the season.
Philippe Clement had also admitted that Cyriel Dessers could be on his way out of Ibrox this month but only if the conditions suit Rangers.
