New Danilo injury scare explained as Four Lads Had a Dream detail Rangers return timeline

Philippe Clement would have been wanting to rotate his starting XI to face Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup with the chance to give minutes to players who have been sitting on the sidelines.
The manager might have to turn to a few of the academy players in his squad, however, as shown by Clinton Nsiala, the quality is there – if they are given the opportunity.
One player who isn't available is Danilo who Clement confirmed has picked up an injury against Aberdeen with an update on when he will be back playing for Rangers.
Rangers get good news on Danilo injury front
Despite not giving a specific timeline, news emerged after the press conference that the Brazilian striker isn't going to be out for long:
"Danilo has a small upper body injury caused by the challenge midweek. He doesn't require surgery and will be missing for a few weeks only, brace on for a week then back to it.
"It is not a big injury and he is fine," reported Stevie Clifford of the Four Lads Had a Dream podcast.
"The only time he has been injured at Rangers is through challenges on the pitch.
"One a broken cheekbone, one a serious knee injury. This is an impact injury no more than that.
"He's hardly injury prone or not robust, this aside, he's been really unlucky with two really bad ones."
How can Clement replace Danilo?
The problem Clement has is trying to replicate the system that Rangers have looked best in without Danilo.
Nedim Bajrami seems the natural fit to come into the team, but there could be a reprieve for Cyriel Dessers who is linked with a move away.
Having two strikers on the pitch at the same time has seen Rangers movement in the final third cause a lot more problems and created more space for the likes of Vaclav Cerny and Ianis Hagi too.
Thankfully, Danilo might only miss one league game given that he isn't in the Europa League squad and shouldn't be needed to beat Fraserburgh, if for once, he is lucky.
