'So negative' Rangers fans call out Sky Sports pundit for 'shocking' Ross County coverage

Rangers fans were delighted to see their under-pressure side continue a recent resurgence with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers have struggled on their travels in Scotland this season but Philippe Clement's team came up big with a routine enough victory and performance in the Highlands.
First half goals from Hamza Igamane and Danilo had the Gers sailing at half-time, before Ibrox captain James Tavernier completed the Scottish Premiership rout.
But whilst Rangers fans have had plenty of praise for several in their squad, Sky Sports commentator Neil McCann has been drawing attention for the wrong reasons.
Sky Sports pundit angers Rangers fans
There was a time when former Rangers winger Neil McCann was a popular pundit amongst the Gers support.
But the Sky Sports commentator has raised some eyebrows amongst Gers fans for what they perceive as negative coverage of the 3-0 win over Ross County.
Whilst Rangers fans have been somewhat conditioned to negativity after months of poor performances, many believe the team deserve more credit for a recent upswing.
Neil McCann is also being criticised for downplaying Hamza Igamane's stunning opening goal in Dingwall, the commentator accused of overstating a 'wicked deflection' on the strike.
Rangers fans question Neil McCann's commentary
Neil McCann's commentary throughout the match has drawn criticism from Rangers supporters on social media platform X.
One supporter claims that Neil McCann 'so negative' that he is increasingly comparable with infamous pundit Michael Stewart.
Another suggested that McCann is 'so anti-Rangers' with a real sentiment of frustration surrounding the ex-Ibrox winger in the Rangers support.
It's echoed by another Rangers fan who claims the commentator 'never has anything good to say' about Rangers when on punditry duties.
When it comes to the Hamza Igamane goal, one fan claimed Neil McCann was 'absolutely desperate' to talk down the strike.
Others have questioned the ex-Gers star's 'negative' coverage.
One fan writes: "What’s happened to Neil McCann? Becoming insufferably negative about the famous. Used to be a really good pundit."
Another said: "Why is Neil McCann so negative when he's commenting on our games these days it's brutal!"
There's a fair swell of Rangers fans thinking the same and whilst the Gers support never want ridiculously biased coverage, they would certainly appreciate a bit more positivity.
