Inter Milan’s Yann Bisseck has ended up on Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer radar, according to InterLive.it.

Ange Postecoglou has favoured Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven as his first-choice centre-back pairing at Spurs. The Argentine has been linked with a move away from the north London club.

Faced with the risk of losing Romero next summer, Tottenham are said to be searching the market for his ‘worthy’ replacement. The report states Bisseck has been identified as a target.

The Nerazzurri took the 23-year-old from Danish side AGF in July 2023. He didn’t have a prominent role in his debut season, but that didn’t stop him from receiving approaches from German and English clubs in the summer.

Bisseck has started to feature regularly for the Serie A side this season. This has seen him attract interest from elsewhere.

It’s claimed Simone Inzaghi’s side have to deal with a ‘full-blown assault’ from the Premier League, where Tottenham are the only club named.

Bisseck’s profile matches Spurs’ requirements. The report further states they are ‘willing to pay’ €30m for the player.  Inter, led by their president Giuseppe Marotta, are looking to offer him an improved deal.

Three days ago, Tuttosport stated Inter would find it difficult to reject a €40-45m bid from a top Premier League side for Bisseck next summer. This would mean Tottenham have to offer €10m more to sign the German, but at this stage it looks mainly like an effort to hype the player up.
