Ditched Tottenham youngster thinks he's better than Solanke, but still has Harry Kane as best in world

There's nothing like a bit of confidence, especially for a striker, and it seems former Tottenham man Troy Parrott is brimming with it at this moment in time.
That's at least if his latest appearance on a video for ESPN Netherlands is anything to by, as he ranks himself higher than the likes of Dominic Solanke, but not Harry Kane.
For those that don't know, Parrott is currently playing for AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands after joining them in a €4m move from Tottenham back in July.
He's managed 11 goals and three assists in 24 games to date, building on the impressive form he enjoyed while on loan at Excelsior last season, where he managed 17 goals and five assists in 32 games.
It's a real career take off for the former Tottenham man, who was once highly rated at Spurs but failed to make the grade and endured unsuccessful loan spells at Millwall, Ipswich, MK Dons and Preston before heading to the Netherlands with Excelsior.
In fact, he is currently only two goals from being the top goal scorer in the Eredivisie, a real achievement for the striker after years of struggles early in his career.
That led ESPN to ask him to rank himself with some of the best in the Premier League. Parrott is seemingly happy to do this, putting himself ahead of Evan Ferguson, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Jamie Vardy, Enen Unal and current Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke.
His first hesitation comes when deciding if he's better than Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins who he 'really likes' before he eventually admits he 'can give this one' to Newcastle's Alexander Isak, albeit 'for now'.
He then rates Isak above Robert Lewandowski, with the caveat of it being based on 'right now' before then picking Kylian Mbappe over Isak, Mbappe over Erling Haaland and finishing with Harry Kane as his ultimate winner.
It's all very tongue in cheek, of course, but the confidence shines through.
With another stellar year in the Netherlands on the cards, perhaps he'll be given his chance to prove himself in the Premier League before too long. Given his confidence here, we're sure he'd back himself to succeed.
