Negotiations with club & agent underway: Tottenham want "really talented" PL ace

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Argentine attacking midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.
According to a report from Fichajes, talks between the clubs are already underway, and Tottenham have been in touch with the player's agent as well. It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal across the line.
Previously, it has been reported that the player is valued at £25 million, and it is fair to assume that Tottenham certainly have the financial muscle to afford him. The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Leicester City and Spurs will need to secure an agreement with his parent club, Brighton.
There have been rumours of Tottenham submitting an offer for him in recent weeks.
The attacking midfielder is highly rated and former Leicester manager Steve Cooper recently described him as a "really talented" player.
He said: "He's a really talented young guy, really good attitude to the game. He's aggressive, a risk-taker with the ball, and for a creative player, he really puts in a defensive effort as well. We're enjoying working with him. He's a player that can make the difference."
There is no doubt that he could develop into a top class, Premier League attacker with the right guidance and a move to Tottenham could be an exciting opportunity for him. They need more creativity and cutting edge in the final third.
Buonanotte is capable of slotting into the attacking midfield role as well as in the wide areas. He will add goals and creativity to the side. He could compete with James Maddison for the starting spot. The England International has been quite inconsistent this season. The South American could prove to be an upgrade on Timo Werner and Richarlison as well.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get the deal across the line this month. Signing a talented young player like him would be a superb future investment for them and the move could look like a masterstroke in the long term.
