Earlier this month, we covered claims from Spain that Sevilla have identified Tottenham Hotspur’s Sergio Reguilón as an ideal candidate for next season.

Orgullo Biri backs up the La Liga side’s interest in the left-back and then state they will face competition from Real Sociedad.

Reguilón’s contract expires in June and barring any surprises, he will leave Tottenham as a free agent.

He played five matches for Tottenham this season and all appearances were in December and January. Due to his current situation at Spurs, the player feels it’s ‘time for a change of scenery’ after this season.

The report states the former Real Madrid man is ready to return to Spain, where Sevilla and Real Sociedad have expressed their interest in signing him in the summer window.

Reguilón’s desire to return to Spain as a free agent makes him attractive option for the two La Liga clubs.

The 28-year-old could fit into La Real’s attacking football and the report indicates he ‘can’t pass up’ the opportunity to join them. The fullback spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Sevilla and could also return to his former club.

Both Real Sociedad and Sevilla offer the Spaniard an opportunity to relaunch his career. Orgullo Biri state Reguilón has to make a ‘key decision’ on his career in the next window.
