Stoke City are moving ahead to sign Ali Al-Hamadi from Ipswich Town and put him through his medical today if terms can be agreed, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Tractor Boys are battling against relegation from the Premier League this season after achieving direct promotion under Kieran McKenna.

Ipswich brought in a host of fresh faces in the summer and are working tirelessly to make good use of this window as well.

Jaden Philogene and Ben Godfrey have joined the Portman Road outfit but they could offload some players as well.

Bit-part Iraq frontman Al-Hamadi is a player, who could be on his way out of Ipswich this month.

Championship side Stoke City are trying to bring in the 22-year-old and they are discussing if it will be a loan deal or a permanent deal.

And it has been suggested that if they agree on terms, Al-Hamadi will have his medical today, with the Potters wanting the deal done.

Now, it appears to be a matter of time before Al-Hamadi seals his exit from Portman Road and he will be looking to play regular football.
