'Terrible': Chris Sutton says £25m Tottenham player keeps making awful decisions on the pitch

Tottenham were beaten again at the weekend, and once again, it was a shambolic defensive performance from Spurs.
The north London club conceded six goals at home against Liverpool on Sunday, and there are massive questions to be asked of this Spurs team's defence right now.
Archie Gray is a talented prospect, but he's not a centre-back, while Radu Dragusin has been criticised heavily for his performances this season.
Speaking on It's All Kicking Off, Chris Sutton has been discussing Tottenham's performance against Liverpool, and he's noted that Dragusin's decision-making during the match was nothing short of terrible.
Radu Dragusin's decision-making was terrible vs Liverpool
Sutton spoke about Tottenham's problems against Spurs.
The pundit says that Tottenham really need to adapt to protect their defenders, claiming that Gray and Dragusin aren't good enough right now.
"And I take all those points, but then, is that not where you sort of have to adapt a bit? And, you know, you can maybe sit a little bit deeper in a low block and shove your two central midfielders screening the two centre-halves, Dragusin and Gray. And, you know, Gray’s a young boy, Dragusin is, you know, he’s an aggressive centre-half, but some of his decision-making was, you know, was terrible," Sutton said.
"But Postecoglou won’t compromise and, you know, he’s stubborn and he says he’ll carry on. But, you know, going toe-to-toe with the Liverpool team in that form, in the form they’ve been in this season, it wasn’t a great surprise to me that Liverpool told them to shreds. And I don’t know whether that was a surprise to you with the nature of the Tottenham team, even had they had their strongest 11 out."
When are Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven back?
Sutton is right, Dragusin and Gray haven't been up to scratch as of late.
Indeed, Spurs have conceded 14 goals in their last five games in all competitions.
Spurs are seriously missing Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, so the question is, when are those two players back.
Van de Ven was set for three weeks on the sidelines when he was ruled out a fortnight ago, so he should be back in the new year.
Romero injured himself in the Chelsea game, and, as of yet, no return date has been confirmed, but it is thought that a January return could also be on the cards for the Argentine.
Regardless of when Romero and Van de Ven are back, it's clear that Dragusin and Gray aren't a sustainable centre-back pairing.
As Sutton says, Dragusin's decision-making is poor and that's something the £25m man really does need to work on if he wants to make it as a top-level player at Spurs.
