According to reports first published by Football Insider, Walsall Head Coach Mat Sadler has been linked with the manager vacancies at Millwall and Northampton Town.

Sadler has guided the Saddlers to the top of Sky Bet League Two, with his side enjoying a strong spell that has not only seen them rise in the table, but also impress in the various cup competitions, earning victories over a string of League One clubs.

Millwall are already in the market for a new boss, as current gaffer Neil Harris is set to step down following this weekend's Championship clash between the Lions and Middlesbrough.

Meanwhile, Northampton are seeking a replacement for former boss Jon Brady after he quit the League One club last week, with the Cobblers currently sitting seventeenth in the League One.

39-year-old Sadler has done exceptionally well on a small budget and is believed to have drawn the interest of other clubs as he continues to guide the Saddlers back towards the third tier.
