Club Statement: Burnley v Watford - Alleged Abuse

Watford Football Club wishes to place on record its thanks to Burnley Football Club, the match officials and Lancashire Constabulary for their actions in relation to an incident during the first half of today’s game.
The Hornets join with the Clarets in urging anyone with information relating to the incident to please come forward.
Watford FC will be offering its fullest support to the player towards whom the alleged abuse was directed.
