Tom Cleverley has provided a squad update ahead of the visit of Sheffield United to The Vic on Saturday (January 4, 3pm KO).

After missing the game against Queens Park Rangers on New Year’s Day, Imrân Louza will return to contention after a knee ligament strain.

In further good news, Tom Dele-Bashiru has returned to training following his knee injury.

“Imrân’s improved a lot and will be available for the game,” Cleverley said.

“Tom has re-joined the group so we’re getting stronger in that [central midfield] position.

“So it’s good news on that front.”

Angelo Ogbonna could be in line for his first minutes since the trip to Luton in October, with Cleverley adding: “He’s a live player, and ready from the start tomorrow.”

Fellow defender Kévin Keben remains as an absentee.
