Salah tempted by Paris Saint Germain move

With Liverpool yet to offer Mohamed Salah a new deal, it's been reported that the Egyptian star is entertaining the idea of joining French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain.

Salah, who is currently in the last six months of his deal, is said to be attracting big money interest from clubs in both Europe and Saudi Arabia.

While the likes of Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, and Al-Hilal are reportedly keen on signing the 32-year-old in mega-money deals, a report in Spanish football claimed that Salah and his entourage are chatting to PSG behind the scenes.

"According to sources close to the player's entourage, Paris Saint-Germain is one of the clubs that has resumed contacts with Salah," the report mentioned, as per Football365.

"The Parisian team, which has been following in the footsteps of the Egyptian for several years, sees in him the ideal substitute to lead its offensive project after the departure of key figures such as Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.

"The decision not to renew [with Liverpool] is also due to Salah's interest in maintaining control of his future. His contract with Liverpool expires in 2025, but an exit next summer could be beneficial for both parties: the player would seek a new challenge, while the club would ensure significant economic compensation before it is too late."
