Who are the Fantasy Football bargains ahead of the Brentford – Liverpool game ?

Saturday morning and Brentford are all set for the visit of Liverpool. Tuesday’s epic encounter with league champions Manchester City during the week now nothing more than a fond memory to inspire The Bees onwards and upwards.
We looked at the main match preview yesterday. You can find that one here.
But what else is there to say? Well, if nothing else there’s always Fantasy Football. The game that so many of us invest so much time in to each week. With the current FPL transfer deadline due to happen at 11.00am, it’s time for that last minute tinkering.
The big question for us being whether there are any bargains to be had from the Brentford – Liverpool game?
The answer to that one is a short but simple yes.
With Bryan Mbeumo and Brentford’s all time leading Premier League goalscorer Yoanne Wissa at the business end of the league goalscoring charts, that’s a great place to start. Mikkel Damsgaard is on fire through the middle. Christian Norgaard, too.
Mark Flekken is eating up the ‘save points’ for breakfast whilst goals are coming in from all other areas of the park. The electric pace of Kevin Schade. The taste for goal of Nathan Collins. The overlaps from Mads and KLP. Hey, even Rico Henry is back in action.
Liverpool do have some big names and world class talent but when looking to juggle that combination of value versus fantasy points, and with main focus on today’s game, the picture below shows those players that you really should be getting three of in to your team for this weekend’s action.
Whatever else happens in the actual game, from the FPL perspective Brentford continue to to the value charts.
That said, I’ve got a sneaky feeling that if we’re talking Fantasy, it could be dreamland for Brentford….
