Six share points in Reading cup win

It took an extra thirty minutes to beat Reading last Saturday in the FA Cup but, overall, it was a good performance with mixed views on our best players.
There were two different winners in the man of the match and player ratings with a total of six players winning points towards the Up the Clarets Player of the Year.
Lyle Foster opened the scoring in the game and on his first start since returning from injury, he won the man of the match with 27% of the vote although not too far ahead of Zian Flemming, who came on as a substitute to score our other two goal, with 21%. One of the two young midfielders Joe Bauress saw his assured performance win third place with 18% and Mike Trésor, who made a surprise return as a substitute, was fourth with 10% of the vote.
Flemming it was who took first place in the player ratings with 8.06 out of ten, the only player to pass eight. Joe Worrall, another playing for the first time since injury, was second after an excellent display at the back; he rating 7.83. Foster took third place with 7.77 and Bauress joined with his fellow young midfielder Tommy McDermott; both had ratings of 7.60 out of ten to take fourth place jointly.
This has won Flemming eight points towards the player of the year with Foster winning seven points. To add to those two, both Bauress and Worrall have won three points with one point each for McDermott and Trésor.
With none of the players at the top of the table involved in the game, it's made no real difference other than Flemming now moving into joint ninth place alongside Jaidon Anthony.
The next vote will be underway tonight after the Sunderland game.
