Deal with Sheffield United 'could be overturned' – Player fears missing out on Blades move

Hertha Berlin’s Jonjoe Kenny is keen on joining Sheffield United in the winter market and has already made his desire public.
Last week, we covered claims from Germany which stated the 27-year-old has a deal in place with the Blades and has been waiting for the two clubs to find an agreement.
On Monday, Bild reported Sheffield United are offering €600,000 plus €600,000 as bonus if they return to the Premier League. The second division German club, on the other hand, are requesting €2m for the right-back.
Bild even stated Chris Wilder’s side have given an ultimatum until Wednesday to Hertha. Kicker have backed up this claim and then provide the latest on the Englishman’s current situation.
The former Everton man has less than six months left on his deal and has made it clear he won’t sign an extension. That’s because he wants to return to England to join Sheffield United.
If Hertha refuse to agree a deal with the Championship side within 48 hours, the Blades could look for a different right-back in this window. This would have ‘immediate consequences’ for Kenny.
Should Sheffield United sign another right-back, Kicker claim Kenny’s deal ‘could be overturned’. The agreement he has with Wilder’s side ‘would be completely void’, not just for this window but for the summer as well.
Kenny fears another right-back’s arrival in this window would close the Sheffield United door for him.
