First offer for Watford player rejected – Situation could go on longer than Championship window

On summer deadline day, Udinese’s Festy Ebosele completed a season-long loan move to Watford.
Ebosele has mainly operated as a right-back/right wing-back at Watford, managing 827 minutes from 19 games so far.
The 22-year-old is currently injured, but that has not stopped him from attracting interest from Galatasaray.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who claims claims the Turkish club were working on signing AC Milan’s Emerson Royal. They had to abandon this track after the Brazilian suffered an injury last week.
The former Tottenham Hotspur defender is expected to be out for three months, and this has seen the Istanbul club shift their focus to the Watford man to improve their defence.
Ebosele is currently injured, and the ‘main crux of the negotiations’ is linked to his fitness. The journalist explains that if the Republic of Ireland international were to return within a few weeks, Galatasaray could push to sign him in this window, given their market lasts until February 11th.
Di Marzio took for X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide an additional update. He says the Turkish club made their first offer for the Watford fullback but it was rejected.
