Chelsea 5-1 Shamrock Rovers, Player Ratings: Guiu goals galore

Community player ratings from Chelsea's final Conference League league-phase match
1. MARC GUIU (9.1)
Opposition quality aside, Guiu has made some noticeable strides in his overall play this season, improving from someone who just gave it his all and ran a lot in the summer, to someone who can now be an effective part of the team. And it certainly helps that he can create for himself (as we saw last week) and also finish off chances created for him. Five goals in two games is pretty, pretty, pretty good at any level.
Hopefully he will keep getting his chances in our secondary competitions, and keep improving and performing.
2. MARC CUCURELLA (8.3)
Cucurella got himself suspended for the weekend, so he had to make do with Thursday football this week. He certainly made the most of it by scoring a really nice goal — back-to-back games with a goal!! — and also wearing the captain's armband after Axel Disasi made way for another Academy debutant late in the game.
'Tis the season of Cucu ... uh, "Penguin Style"?
3. MARC JOSH ACHEAMPONG (7.4)
Since last week, Acheampong got himself a new contract as well as a permanent locker in the first-team dressing room. Not bad!
