"Definitely one to watch" – Chelsea now linked with surprise Premier League player
Today at 08:40 AM
Chelsea fans have been told to watch out for one potential surprise Premier League transfer target this month as time ticks down in January.
The Blues now have just nine days remaining in the current winter transfer window in order to get any business done, so they may now want to get a bit of a move on with some of them, even if it is just outgoings.
We have heard some more advancements on the Cesare Casadei to Serie A story this morning, although even this one has been a real dragged out transfer saga that has just got completely boring.
Chelsea are also looking at a potential deal to try and sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho this window, although they are even apparently unsure if they want to do that.
They should probably get their plans together and make some final decisions whilst they still have some time to do so.
Our own writer Simon Phillips has some new striker news out today on his Substack site and talks about a number of names including Dusan Vlahovic, Jhon Duran, Liam Delap, Darwin Nunez, and Benjamin Sesko to name a few.
Chelsea also monitoring Cunha
The other name in the article is Matheus Cunha of Wolves.
Phillips says:
'But my top source has said Matheus Cunha 'is definitely one to watch'. With Cunha, more and more noise is building that he will leave this month, and our source has said that Chelsea are in and around this situation and could move for Cunha at any moment. Although the same source believes that it's most likely at the moment that he ends up at Arsenal, because they are the club trying and pushing the most right now.'
