'Suitcase packed full of dreams' – Coach strongly hints Chelsea transfer happening, Blues experience formative

Italy U21 coach Carmine Nunziata has hinted strongly that Chelsea's Cesare Casadei will be heading back to Italy in this window.
La Stampa cover comments from the Italy U21 coach today in which he comments on Casadei and his formative spell with the Blues so far.
Casadei has been heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea for weeks. He is seemingly unwanted by Enzo Maresca and on Chelsea's list of players who can be moved on.
Torino and Lazio are keen on him and La Stampa report that his 'suitcase is packed and full dreams' this month. He wants to return Italy and can't wait to make his debut in Serie A.
He nearly managed it while he was with Inter Milan in their Primavera side, but Chelsea noticed him and took him 2022 for €20m to stop that happening.
He's now managed to find his feet at Stamford Bridge, though, and he wants to turn things around and get back to playing in his homeland.
A loan deal is yet to be wrapped up for him, but Nunziata has hinted a return to Italy will absolutely be happening at some point.
When asked about the midfielder going home, he said: “He is an important player, and it is right that he begins to have continuity. The experience at Chelsea was formative, but with that competition it is difficult to find space and he needs to play," he said.
“At Toro there is always a different and particular atmosphere, it is certainly a place where you experience strong emotions.
"Personally, the Granata has remained with me, even if the memory of the last match – with the promotion play-off lost on penalties against Perugia – is not exactly the best…”.
"Playing in different leagues allows you to have more experience: take Calafiori who went abroad, came back and now he is away again. Then there are many guys who decide to go to Serie B and Serie C to play."
