Vale 'expected' to leave, with Sunderland, Anderlecht, Heerenveen interested — reports

Welcome back! Bye!
Harvey Vale was among the group of Academy youngsters who got some playing time in our last two UEFA Conference League league-phase games, getting to add two senior appearances to the five he got way back in 2021-22. Unfortunately, it looks like these may be the final two appearances of his Chelsea career, with the 21-year-old "expected" to leave for good in the January transfer window.
Once one of the most promising prospects in the system, Vale has dropped off the radar in the last couple seasons, which included a frustrating half season on loan at Championship side Hull City and a full season at third division Bristol Rovers, where he was a first-team regular. But so far this season, he's been playing only at the under-21 level, which is certainly well below his level.
According to Ben Jacobs, the likes on Sunderland, Anderlecht, and SC Heerenveen are interested, though it sounds like Sunderland are only looking for loans. Vale has six months left on his contract, though I suppose Chelsea could easily make the necessary allowances to let him leave and further his career.
Several clubs are interested in Harvey Vale in January. He is expected to leave Chelsea as he enters the last six months of his contract. https://t.co/XYvMmKry2mpic.twitter.com/9BpNxzxUNA
