Everton, having secured their first win of the season last weekend at Goodison Park against Crystal Palace, will look for their second on the trot on Saturday evening. And what better way to do that than against Newcastle United and Kirkdale-born former Blue Anthony Gordon?

The joy from last week's positive takeover news and then the victory will have been somewhat tempered by the news of key defender Jarrad Branthwaite's training ground injury, and if he isn't able to go the Toffees chances of nabbing all three points will drastically reduce.

Visitors Newcastle are coming off an impressive home draw against league leaders Manchester City, and indeed looked the better side for large parts of that game too.
