'Immense': Henry Winter seriously impressed with two Nottingham Forest players vs Chelsea

Nottingham Forest battled to a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday and in truth, the Reds nearly won it.
The game was a blood-and-thunder contest that saw both Matz Sels and Robert Sanchez in fine form between the posts.
The Chelsea stopper Sanchez heaped praise on Sels after the game and clearly, there was a lot of mutual respect between the stoppers.
Forest had to fight hard for around 25 minutes with 10 men after James Ward-Prowse had been sent off for two yellow cards.
Nuno Espirito Santo has built something at Forest though and these days there is a more attacking feel about the Reds on the road.
Some pundits are starting to change their minds on Forest with Sam Matterface making a U-turn earlier this week about the Reds.
Two Nottingham Forest players praised by Henry Winter
One journalist who has never doubted Forest is Winter. He regularly covers games on Trentside and always appreciates the tradition of the City Ground.
After Sunday’s entertaining draw, he lauded two Forest stars for their efforts during the contest.
He produced an article for TalkSPORT and called Nikola Milenkovic ‘immense’ and claimed Ryan Yates ’embodied Forest’s defiance’.
Yates did a quality job on World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez and actually committed a foul on the midfielder after just 17 seconds.
He’s been brilliant when called upon this season and despite some reservations in the past, there is definitely a role for him in the team now.
As for Milenkovic. Wow! The fact that Forest managed to get him for £12 million defies logic and might just stop some of the lazy takes over the recruitment model in place at the club.
Forest have strength in depth all over the park
The Reds have worked tirelessly this summer to ensure that the squad is well-stocked ahead of the third campaign in the Premier League.
Espirito Santo can have no complaints about the strength in depth now and ultimately he’s got a headache in picking a team every week.
Yates does defy what Forest should be all about. He gives his all in every single game and he really epitomises what playing for the football club should be about.

Milenkovic and Yates are two of the leaders in the Forest squad and with the right players around them, the team can thrive this season.
The challenge for Espirito Santo after a strong start to the season is to keep his squad grounded and ready for the challenges of the next few weeks.
Three of Forest’s next four games are on home soil and it’s not time for Yates and Milenkovic to help the team garner some points on home soil.
