Two Nottingham Forest coaches in unexpected visit to one of the world's most decorated managers

Nottingham Forest have been catching the attention of everyone in the Premier League this season, and now it appears as if Real Madrid are somehow on the radar.

Nuno Espirito Santo has masterminded Nottingham Forest‘s brilliant start to the Premier League season, and many fans are now setting their sights on European football.

Despite the positive start, it won’t be an easy task. The likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Aston Villa are all to come in the next five games.

One positive heading into this period is the fact that Morgan Gibbs-White is well-rested and high in confidence after bagging his first contribution for England against Greece.

However, England fans weren’t too happy with Gibbs-White’s absence in the second game.

Regardless, it appears as if the positive start to the season has brought about a weird link to Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid, with a visit being paid recently.

Sam Morris and Dom Colman pay visit to Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti has established himself as one of the most decorated managers in world football, winning 29 trophies in total, which includes five Champions League titles.

He’s currently at Real Madrid but things aren’t going as planned, with Los Blancos going through a rough patch having lost to Barcelona heavily and then AC Milan in the Champions League.

However, that hasn’t stopped a couple of Nottingham Forest coaches from travelling to Spain to pay a visit to the European giants.

The Nottingham Forest academy account on X shared that academy goalkeeper coaches Sam Morris and Dom Colman paid a visit to Real Madrid recently for an observational visit.

Evangelos Marinakis’ plans to expand his empire

Evangelos Marinakis already has links to clubs in high places, especially as he already owns Greek giants Olympiacos.

And Marinakis has plans to expand his empire by acquiring a European club, an Asian club and a South American club in the not so distant future.

It appears as if Edu is set to play a big part in the expansion with the links he built during his time at Arsenal and the Brazilian connections he already had.

This can only benefit Nottingham Forest with potential options to take players from other clubs that may be acquired and also send players on loan, just like David Carmo at Olympiacos.
