"100% focused on Nottingham Forest" – Player doesn't want to fuel drama too much, rather calm things down

Nottingham Forest attacker Anthony Elanga has told the Swedish media his focus at the moment is solely on playing for the Premier League side.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form recently, but has been experiencing issues with the Swedish national team.
Speaking to Expression, the former Manchester United player was asked about his situation with Sweden and his differences with coach Jon Dahl Tomasson.
Elanga said he just wants to concentrate on playing for Nottingham Forest, and he wouldn't be dragged into his situation with Dahl Tomasson. The winger still wants to play for his country, but for the time being he just needs to focus on the season ahead with Forest.
"It’s between me and Jon, but right now I’m one hundred percent focused on Nottingham, and I’ve started the season really well. When the national team comes, I will always be there if they need me. Always.
“It is always a great honour to represent the national team. But right now, I’m very much focused in Nottingham. If you want to go to the national team, you always want to play, that’s what’s important to me," said the Forest winger.
During a recent international break Elgana was dropped from the Swedish squad, with reports Dahl Tomasson couldn't get in contract with the winger to speak about his decision. Elanga had been an unused substitute in Sweden’s two previous UEFA Nations League games.
Since the November international break, Elanga has shone and been key in Nottingham Forest's pursuit for Champions League football.
This season the Swede has made 24 appearances, scoring three goals.
