'Biggest threat': National media say £25m Tottenham man was by far the best player on the pitch last night

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dejan Kulusevski took centre stage for Sweden as they played out a 2-2 draw against Slovakia in a UEFA Nations League clash.
Yasin Ayari and Ken Sema scored quickfire goals in the first half to give the away side a two-goal lead, but David Strelec’s brace either side of half-time meant the two sides shared the spoils in an entertaining clash.
Kulusevski has been in fine form for Tottenham this season and continued his rich vein of form for his country as he impressed in an advanced role.
And the national media were in awe of his performance as he was in the thick of the action at the National Football Stadium in Slovakia.

Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski hailed for his performance for Sweden
The 24-year-old didn’t get a goal or an assist but was heavily involved in the build-up for both goals as Sweden took a two-goal lead in the first half.
Swedish newspaper Fotbollskanalen rated him four out of five, saying: "Definitely the best player on the pitch. Often did almost whatever he wanted.
“Served Gyokeres in a great position before he came close to drilling in 1-0 for the away side, and then was most involved in the first goal.
“Also involved in the second goal. Things happened when the Tottenham star had the ball."
Svenskafans also gave him the same rating as they wrote that he was the best player on the pitch despite not racking up the required end product.
“Consistently Sweden’s biggest threat together with Ayari. Sometimes looks to be by far the best on the pitch, but in some strange way not much gets done anyway in the protocol. Should be able to ensure that Sweden scores more goals.”
Kulusevski’s stats vs Slovakia
Kulusevski had two shots on target and completed three dribbles while also making three key passes and creating two big chances.

He had 65 touches of the ball, but his low pass completion percentage of 74% (28/28) can be attributed to the fact that he was pulling strings for Sweden and tried a handful of adventurous balls behind the Slovakia backline.
Kulusevski was undoubtedly one of the best players on the pitch and finished the game with a Sofascore rating of 7.9.
He has been one of Tottenham’s shrewdest signings at £25m and is finally starting to put up consistent displays for club and country.
