Dominik Szoboszlai revealed what Mohamed Salah kept doing to him against Tottenham and it helped him to produce one of his best displays for Liverpool.
Szoboszlai was excellent against Spurs and proved himself to be one of Liverpool’s key men in the win. Arne Slot moved him into a more advanced role in North London and the midfielder left with a goal and an assist in the 6-3 win.
After the match, the 24-year-old was asked about his chemistry with Salah and he revealed how his Liverpool teammate really helped him against Spurs.

Dominic Szoboszlai has revealed how much he loves playing alongside Mohamed Salah after the pair combined twice against Tottenham. Salah set up the Hungarian for Liverpool’s third goal and the duo combined again for the fifth with Szoboszlai this time returning the favour.
Szoboszlai explained how the Egyptian is always helping him on and off the pitch and against the North London club, Salah kept shouting at him about what to do. The 24-year-old is hopeful the duo can continue to combine after they dominated Spurs’ defence.
Szoboszlai told Stadium Astro: “I wish every game I could give Mo [Salah] an assist and he can give me also. We understand each other very well and I have to know Mo is always screaming my name, even when he’s not free he is screaming my name. You can see every game he does his job, scores and assists. He helps us every time with everything, not only on the pitch but outside the pitch also.”

There is a strong case to be made that Szoboszlai produced his best display for the Reds in the 6-3 win and that was certainly the case for Liverpool overall. Many suggested there first-half display was the best so far under Slot and their attacking talents certainly helped that.
Slot opted for a slight tactical tweak against Ange Postecoglou’s team as he moved Szoboszlai into the number ten role. Liverpool’s attacking quartet of Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Salah and Szoboszlai ended up proving far too hot to handle for Tottenham.
The Hungarian international was outstanding getting a goal and an assist, having 65 touches, completing 36 passes out of 42 and winning six of his eight duels.
