'Embarrassing': Pundit says £25m Chelsea player simply isn't good enough

Chelsea have perhaps been the surprise package in the Premier League so far this season
After another summer of huge turnover and another managerial change, many expected the Blues to continue to struggle this season.
However, things are going swimmingly under Enzo Maresca at the moment. Chelsea sit fourth in the Premier League and Cole Palmer is playing some unbelievable stuff right now.
Unfortunately for Chelsea, not everyone is on Palmer's level, and speaking on The 2 Robbies Podcast, Robbie Mustoe has shared a scathing verdict on Robert Sanchez.
Indeed, the pundit says that Sanchez is not at the level required to play for Chelsea, claiming that he's not even a top half goalkeeper.
Robert Sanchez isn't good enough
Mustoe shared his verdict on Sanchez's ability.
"I'm sorry to be as harsh as I'm probably going to be. Robert Sanchez is not at Chelsea's level. He's not at Chelsea's level. I would say he's not a top half goalkeeper. He's not a top 10 goalkeeper. It starts to get a bit embarrassing," Mustoe said.
Chelsea have replacements lined up
Mustoe may have a point about Sanchez not being good enough for Chelsea, but, luckily, the Blues have plenty of goalkeepers waiting in the wings.
Indeed, the west London club have no fewer than eight goalkeepers on their books at the moment, and while some of those players are out on loan, they may soon be knocking on the door to start for Chelsea.
Many of these goalkeepers are young and promising, and some of them cost plenty of money too.
Whether or not any of these players are ready to step up for Chelsea remains to be seen, but if Sanchez's form doesn't improve, he won't be the Blues' number one for much longer.
Chelsea are doing very well at the moment, but there are still a few underlying issues plaguing this squad at the moment.
