Aston Villa have once again been sensational this season under Unai Emery, with another top-four finish potentially on the cards.

Despite Jaden Philogene picking up a red card for Villa against Fulham on the weekend, the UEFA Champions League side marched on to a 3-1 win at Craven Cottage, with the Villians hosting Bologna this week in Europe.

With the likes of Pau Torres now winning praise for their performances for Villa, this season could prove to be even better than last year’s if Emery can lead the Villa Park side to silverware in the form of the FA Cup or even Champions League.

And defender Matty Cash has now predicted one Villa star to go far in his career.

Morgan Rogers has ‘the world at his feet’ after electric Aston Villa start

Speaking to TNT Sports, the Polish international showered Morgan Rogers with praise, with the England youth international viewed as one of Emery’s most trusted players since joining from Middlesbrough in January for £15m.

With Darren Bent suggesting that Rogers is comparable to Cole Palmer, the Villa youngster truly does have the big future ahead of him after such an incredible start to life at Villa Park, and Cash is excited for what’s to come from the youngster.

Cash said when asked about the winger: "He's got the world at his feet, he's that good. He can do everything. His dribbling's incredible, his calmness on the ball, his finishing. I think for him, he just wants to get his numbers up, his goals and assists.

“He's still so young, he's still got loads to give. He works hard every day on a day-to-day basis, he's not one of those who doesn't work, he works every day as hard as he can and I think that's why he's improving. And he's probably got one of the best managers to help him progress."

Rogers can become a star for Villa and England in the future

Few would have predicted Rogers to hit the ground as well as he did with Villa when he joined in the January transfer window, yet the former Manchester City academy star proved everyone wrong and then some.

As per the winger’s stats in the table below, Rogers has been impressive for Villa under Emery, with the attacker likely to hit double digits in goals and assists if he can remain fit for the rest of the season for the Champions League hopefuls.

And with Rogers now starting to become a regular for England’s U-21s, there’s every chance that the forward could become a full international under Thomas Tuchel heading into the 2026 FIFA World Cup, an achievement that would be worth of the winger’s talents.
