The Arne Slot era at Liverpool couldn't have got off to a better start.
Liverpool are top of the Premier League and the Champions League as things stand, and Liverpool are favourites to win the title at the moment.

Of course, one of the main factors in Liverpool's ascent to the top of the Premier League table this season has been Mohamed Salah's incredible form.
Salah is a Ballon d'Or contender after his incredible start to this season, and speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Tim Sherwood has claimed that the Egyptian looks much happier at Liverpool now than he did at the end of last season.
Mohamed Salah looks happier now
Sherwood spoke about Salah and how he has changed since Slot's arrival.
Salah argued with Jurgen Klopp towards the end of last season, and many thought he would leave Liverpool, but now, he's in the form of his life looking happier than ever.
"Did you not think that at the end of last season he looked unhappy? It looked to me like the beginning of the end for him at Liverpool. Now, I don't see that. I think he's more likely to sign a new deal than not. I don't think he'll go to a bigger club than Liverpool. Age is only a number, he's in amazing condition, he loves the manager," Sherwood said.
"He's just a little genius and when you're playing with the smile he is at the moment, when a player is happy and you know this, you're not thinking about anything else other than enjoying your football."
Mohamed Salah stats under Jurgen Klopp compared to Arne Slot
Salah wasn't happy at times under Klopp towards the end of his reign as he started more and more games on the bench for Liverpool.
This led to a now-infamous touchline spat between Klopp and Salah at West Ham last season.
Salah now seems to be in a much better place at Liverpool, and his stats this season reflect that.

Salah is playing so much better now under Slot than he was towards the end of Klopp's reign.
Of course, Salah owes Klopp a lot having had untold success under the German, but it does appear as though the winger was ready for a change at the beginning of this season.
Slot has really helped Salah rediscover his best form at Anfield, and who knows? Perhaps that could help convince the winger to sign a new contract in the coming weeks as his Anfield deal ticks closer to its expiration date.
