Arsenal beat PSG 2-0 on Tuesday evening in what was a statement Champions League performance.

The Gunners outplayed the French giants at the Emirates on Tuesday, and while it was a great win for Arsenal, Mikel Arteta's side weren't allowed to bask in their success for too long.

Indeed, after the game, attention immediately switched to the Premier League title race once again, and speaking with Thierry Henry on CBS, Bukayo Saka made a strong claim.

Saka stated that he does think this is the year that Arsenal will win the league.

Henry was very impressed by Saka's statement, claiming that he showed a strong level of leadership after captaining Arsenal against PSG.

Saka spoke with the Arsenal legend about the Gunners' title chances.

"I don't wanna put too much pressure on us, but I do think this is the year," Saka said.

“We've been close the last two years, we're getting closer. I hope this will be the year."

"Strong captain, I like that," Henry said.

Arsenal tipped for the title

Bukayo Saka thinks that Arsenal will win the league this year, and he's not the only one.

Indeed, Arsenal have been tipped for the title by numerous pundits, and Gary Neville is of the view that the north London club will win the league.

"I nominated Arsenal at the start of the season to win the league. I do think they are getting closer," Neville recently said.

"They will win the league this season, not because of what happened in the last week with Rodri. I just feel that this could be one season too far for Manchester City.

"But look, it's Pep Guardiola. I think it really seems like he is up for the fight and he is actually taking Mikel Arteta on now in press conferences which is great to see for us."

The fact that Saka has this belief is positive, and, as Henry says, to come out and make that statement in public is strong leadership.

Whether or not Arsenal can get the job done this season remains to be seen.
