Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier took to social media to share a message with fans after the team’s goalless draw against Burnley in the Championship.

The Frenchman earned a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw at Turf Moor on 27 January, with Scott Parker's Burnley side making it a challenging evening for the Whites.

Despite the result, Leeds remain at the top of the Championship table, holding on to a crucial point on the road.

Meslier posted on Instagram after the match, expressing his optimism: "Point on the road! See you Saturday in Elland Road” accompanied by yellow and blue heart emojis, signalling his focus on their next home game.

Leeds United continue to back Illan Meslier—for now

Meslier has remained Daniel Farke's first-choice goalkeeper this season, delivering solid numbers with 29 matches played, just 15 goals conceded, and an impressive 17 clean sheets.

However, the 24-year-old has come under scrutiny from fans and the club alike due to a few costly errors. Football Insider revealed the club have already begun looking for another goalkeeper this window.

Earlier this month, a 3-3 draw against Hull City proved to be the tipping point for some supporters, with many voicing concerns over his performances.
