Liverpool have some incredible attacking talent in their squad right now.

Mohamed Salah is one of the best Premier League players ever, Diogo Jota is scoring for fun at the moment, but the man of the hour this season has been Luis Diaz.

Diaz has earned a massive amount of praise for his performances this season, and he tops the Reds' scoring charts even ahead of Salah.

Speaking to TalkSPORT on TikTok, Jack Grealish has been ranking and rating some of the best wingers in world football, and he reserved some special praise for Diaz.

Indeed, Grealish says that he thinks the £37m man is actually a better player than Sadio Mane at the moment.

Jack Grealish praises Liverpool's Luis Diaz

Grealish spoke highly of Luis Diaz, rating him ahead of Sadio Mane.

However, it wasn't just Mane who Grealish put the Liverpool star ahead of.

The winger also said he prefers Diaz to Gabriel Martinelli and himself.

"Jack Grealish or Agbolahor?" Grealish was asked.

"Jack Grealish, sorry Gabs," Grealish said.

"Grealish or Luis Diaz?"

"I like Luis Diaz, Diaz," Grealish said.

"Diaz or Gabriel Martinelli?"

"Diaz," Grealish said.

"Diaz or Sadio Mane?"

"Sadio Mane was top, but, at the moment, Diaz," Grealish said.

What Sadio Mane said about Luis Diaz

Grealish may rate Diaz ahead of Mane these days, but, once upon a time, these two were teammates.

Indeed, Diaz and Mane played together for Liverpool for six months before Mane's move to Bayern Munich, and the Colombian did leave something of an impression on the Senegal star before he left.

Mane actually described Diaz as a very talented and hard-working player during his time at Liverpool.

"I've spent two, three days with him and he's a very, very nice guy. For sure he will do great for Liverpool because he's so, so talented and he's very humble. A very hard-working player," Mane said.

"I don't see it as competition. I see it as making each other better players. If you want to be a great team you need these kinds of players. We are really happy to have these kinds of players and for sure, we're going to win and Liverpool will win from it."

Unfortunately, we only got to see a brief period of these two playing together at Anfield as Mane would ultimately head to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022, but the fact that Liverpool went on a quadruple chase during Diaz and Mane's time together goes to show how good of a pairing this could've been.
