Jeff Stelling thinks Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham now have an 'issue' with two players

Ange Postecoglou will have a lot to ponder about his Tottenham players over this international break.
In some respects, the Tottenham boss won’t like the fact that the break has come now given how his team performed at the weekend.
Spurs collapsed in the second half against Brighton and showcased the ugly side of their game again.
Just when many thought they were turning a corner, after losing the north London derby, they were pushing to win six games in all competitions.
But the London club did what they do best and that’s collapse in a horror fashion, with the defence coming under fire.
Yes, Brighton have started the season strongly, they have some high-class attacking players and they can score goals for fun against any team.
But Fabian Hurzeler’s side didn’t have to work for their goals because it was a mistake-ridden second-half display from Tottenham.
Jeff Stelling stated that there is ‘no shame’ to losing to a team like Brighton because it will happen to ‘the best of sides’.
But it’s the ‘manner of the defeat’ that is the big problem, as he also put two players in the firing line for their performance – Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro.
From an attacking sense, Stelling thinks the fullback duo are ‘terrific’, but he feels that Postecoglou and Spurs have an ‘issue’ with them from a defensive aspect, as he told talkSPORT (07/10/24 at 6:15 am).

“First of all, there is no shame in losing to Brighton, it happens to the best of sides, but it was the manner of the defeat,” said Stelling.
“I think they have an issue with both fullbacks defensively. Porro and Udogie, they are terrific going forward, but defensively.”
Ange Postecoglou needs to use his squad
In Europe, fans have seen their manager rotate and hand starts to the young stars, whether it be academy players or big-money signings.
But you sense Mikey Moore needs to start more games for Tottenham in the Premier League because Timo Werner isn’t cutting it in the final third.

Djed Spence has had an interesting journey at Tottenham already, but he should have come onto the pitch at the Amex Stadium.
Udogie is young and still trying to learn, so taking him out of the firing line, now and again, isn’t a bad thing, as Porro will always have defensive issues because it just isn’t his game.
