Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy must be sacked after defeat to Fulham of the cub could be relegated from the Premier League, insist fans of the club.
The Foxes were level with Fulham in the first-half of their match on 18 January, but had found it difficult to deal with the creativity of the Whites’ forward players.
Centre-backs Jannik Vestergaard and Wout Faes looked out of their depth against Raul Jimenez, and Vestergaard was booked in the first-half for a poor challenge on the Mexican.
Things only got worse for the Foxes in the second-half, as Emile Smith-Rowe scored in his 100th Premier League match in the 48th minute.
After looking marginally more threatening, Leicester had any chance of a comeback ripped away from them as Adama Traore scored a tidy goal from a Harry Wilson cross.
Leicester fans make their frustrations heard after another loss
Pressure continues to mount on Van Nistelrooy, as his Leicester side lost their have now lost seven games in a row.
Boos rang out inside the stadium when the Dutchman made the unpopular move of bringing off Bilal El Khannous in the 64th minute, despite him being their best player up until that point.
Fans were vocal in their disdain at the team’s performance at full-time, as yet again, a chorus of boos filled the King Power Stadium.
After the match, supporters of the Midlands side took to social media with their criticisms of the team’s performance, suggesting they would be better off with Steve Cooper left in charge.
One fan said that he was “ruining Leicester even more,” whilst another called the move to hire the former Man United man a “bad gamble.”
Leicester may be in the market for another striker after the drab display against Fulham, with the club being linked with Odsonne Edouard this January.
