Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has taken to social media to share a series of images from their 5-0 win over West Ham on Sunday (December 29).

Football Insider revealed (December 31) that Liverpool have agreed new two-year deal in principle with the talismanic 32-year-old.

It’s understood the only thing holding the deal up is an agreement regarding Salah’s image rights, though there is a growing sense that an agreement will be reached between the two parties.

Salah took his goal contribution tally to a remarkable 37 in 26 games as Liverpool cruised past West Ham, assisting Cody Gakpo before scoring just four minutes later.

The forward kept his cards close to his chest after the win over West Ham, telling Sky Sports: "No, we are far away from that.

I don't want to put something in the media and people start saying stuff, but nothing really [has] moved on but for now I'm focused on the team and hopefully we win the Premier League."

Mohamed Salah loving life at Liverpool as his remarkable run of form continues

The Egypt international is arguably the best player in the world at the moment, starting 24 of his 26 games across all competitions, scoring 20 goals, and providing 17 assists in his 2150 minutes of action.

The forward, alongside Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, will be able to negotiate a pre-agreement deal with foreign clubs from New Year’s Day.

Salah is seemingly content at Anfield, however, taking to Instagram to share images of himself and his teammate from their win over West Ham.

Liverpool start 2025 with a bang, hosting Ruben Amorim’s struggling Man United side in their first game of the new year on Sunday (December 5).

Arne Slot’s side will then travel to North London to face Tottenham in the League Cup semi-final as they seek to retain the trophy.

In other news, Trent Alexander-Arnold 'will love leaving Liverpool for Real Madrid'.
