Tottenham have approached Wolverhampton Wanderers about signing Rayan Ait-Nouri in the January transfer window.

That's according to Africa Foot, who say those in charge at Tottenham have already contacted Wolves about a move.

They report that the Wolve star has become a target for several Premier League clubs and is likely to leave Molineux in the coming months.

Tottenham are one of the sides interest in him and their 'leaders' have approached their counterparts at Wolves to ask about him.

According to the website's source, Tottenham will compete with Liverpool and West Ham for the full-back this summer.

Tottenham are seen as a more likely destination than Liverpool and West Ham, though, as they have offered €35m to sign him. There is no mention of any sort of offer from West Ham or Liverpool at this point.

Wolves have a decision to make on the 23-year-old as his current deal expires in 2026, although they do have an option to extend that by a year.

This, though, may be the last summer window in which they can secure a big fee for him, and it seems Tottenham are willing to offer that.

€35m would represent a big profit on a player who cost Wolves €11.1m in 2021, but it remains to be seen if they consider it enough or want to wait and see if Liverpool or West Ham make their own proposals.
