West Ham United have won only one of their last five Premier League games and find themselves a rather disappointing 14th in the table.

The Hammers would ideally want to finish higher and to make sure of that, Graham Potter’s side will need new signings to at least inject some optimism for the remaining months of the season.

As always in January, West Ham are making multiple attempts across Europe. Tuesday’s edition of Marca revealed a €25m Hammers offer for Rodrigo De Paul had been rejected by Atletico Madrid.

After having an attempt knocked back by Napoli for Giacomo Raspadori, the Hammers are still keen on shopping in Italy.

Tuttomercatoweb’s Marco Conterio reports on West Ham being keen on Juventus' Nicolo Fagioli.

The report states that the London club 'have made enquiries' for the midfielder, with Marseille having done the same. Borussia Dortmund are also interested and so are Napoli.

Some encouragement has been handed to West Ham and the other suitors, with the outlet claiming that Juve would be happy to accept an initial loan deal with the obligation of a permanent transfer.

So far, all the offers on the table promise an option to buy. That idea does not tempt the Old Lady but things could change in the last few days of the January transfer window.
