Charlton Athletic defender Lloyd Jones is wanted by Wycombe Wanderers, according to journalist Alan Nixon on Patreon.

Charlton Athletic have a decision to make regarding the future of the centre-back this winter. His contract at The Valley expires in the summer and he is due to become a free agent as things stand.

Jones, 29, has made 18 appearances in all competitions so far this season, 17 of which have come in the league, and he has scored one goal. The Addicks are currently sat in 11th place in the League One table after 23 fixtures and are seven points off the play-offs.

In this latest update regarding their centre-back’s situation, reporter Nixon has claimed on his Patreon page that Wycombe Wanderers are keen on landing him before the end of the January transfer window. They are positioned in 2nd in the league behind Birmingham City after their impressive campaign.
